Health Exams that Every Escort Should Have - Part II

0 comments 01 Nov 2019

Not too long ago we talked to you about how you need to take care of your health. We also introduced you to six important tests you must have when you’re an escort aged 25-39. We’re back at it once more, only this time we want to tell all you lovely 40+ ladies what medical exams you should consider if you want to prevent problems. Especially if you love your job and wish to continue doing it for many years to come.

Vaccines

Immunization is crucial in everyone’s life. As such, your doc will tell you that you need to get your vaccines done. The most important ones are these: Zostavax, Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, Shingrix, Influenza vaccine, and Pneumonia vaccine. Your body will receive protection against herpes zoster (or shingles), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis infection (aka whooping cough), shingles, common influenza strains, and pneumonia.

Screenings

1. Heart

You probably know someone in your family with heart problems. When you’re 40+, the risk of developing diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure, and the like are really high. Better safe than sorry, so make sure you have a heart disease screening as often as your doctor tells you to.

What happens during this screening is as follows: your blood pressure, blood sugar, triglycerides, and total cholesterol are measured.

2. Colorectal cancer

During a colorectal procedure, your colon will be looked at to see if it has abnormal growths (like precancerous polyps) or not. The screening will thus discover colorectal cancer early so it can be treated successfully.

3. Cervical cancer

This type of screening requires just one of three tests, not all of them. There’s the pap smear plus HPV DNA test and a pelvic exam. Or you could get an HPV DNA test plus pelvic exam or a pap smear and a pelvic exam. An ob-gyn will tell you how frequently one of the three should be done, depending on your age.

4. Breast cancer

After the age of 40, you will be required to have a mammogram. This one is done every 1-2 years, depending on your risk.

Sex health

Ladies, you should get tested for STDs not only when you’re in your 20s and 30s. Being over the age of 40 doesn’t mean you can’t get a sexually transmitted disease. Who knows where your client’s Johnson’s been before you. So, get tests for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia once a year. For HIV, do it more than once if you are at a higher risk.

Bones

The old saying “I can feel it in my bones” isn’t without an ounce of truth. Bones start losing their density as early as the age of 30, especially for us girls. A bone mineral density test needs to be had when you’re over 40, in particular if you have a family history of osteoporosis or if your doc discovers one or more previous fragility fractures. You will find out whether you run the risk of developing osteoporosis later on. Your body might also have a problem with its absorption of calcium, so you’ll get tested for calcium levels, too.

As always, feel free to leave a comment below and, if you have other tips for us on this subject, let us know 😊
